The color of doubt--Ava + Bet

These are ~Avalonbluemoon's original characters, Ava and Bet, in my own style. She wanted them almost to be kissing, but look kind of doubtful doing it... which explains the lack of eye contact. They're married but in a 'love-hate' relationship, as she calls it. (the guy's hand is kinda weird... but pretend you just don't notice that, okay? <--especially after I just blatently told you XD)

As for the color choice, I chose a bluey-green color, because I thought of the sea--how uneasy/unstable it is; ever changing its mind from calm and collected to raging and dangerous... kinda rocky like how I imagined their relationship to be, I guess. Also, I've heard that thinking of water (or the sea) can be unconsciously mean that you are lonely. And being in a back and forth relationship like that would kinda make me feel that way, I think. So, there you have it.
