Girls- I don't touch the stuff... except for maybe chapstick.
Girls- "Low"... maybe lipstick or light eyeshadow
Girls- "Medium"... lipstick, eyeshadow, mascara, and maybe light foundation.
Girls- "High"... Lipstick, lipliner, mascara (curl your lashes!), eyeliner, eyeshadow, foundation, and concealer!
Guys- I like girls who only use chapstick.
Guys- "Low" is okay
Guys- "Medium" is okay
Guys- "High" is okay

I voted "heavy" according to the poll options descriptions.

I wear concealer under my eyes, foundation, eyeshadow (a blend of 4 coordinating shades), curl my lashes, wear a precise black eyeliner line on my upper lid, black mascara, perfect my brows (that are tweezed to a nice natural arch) with a brow corrector (a cream powder substance applied with a small brush), then a light rosy blush or bronzer on the apples of my cheeks, and depending on the look I want to achieve that day, either creamy lipstick in a bright red or pink shade, or a quality lipgloss with a high pigment.

Honestly, this is the look I've sported since I was out of high school. I landed a husband since then ;)

HE thought I did not wear much makeup at all. I actually wear far more makeup and have more steps in the process than anyone else I know.

This is why I tend to roll my eyes when men say they don't like it when women wear a lot of makeup.

Honestly, it's NOT about wearing TOO MUCH. It's about applying it wrong, and/or using colours that don't match your skin, hair, and eye color.

I have seen COUNTLESS girls who wear not even half of the makeup I do, but choose the colours so poorly or apply it so badly that they look garish and are mistaken for one of those girls who wear "too much" when in fact, all they are doing it applying wrong and coordinating wrong, NOT wearing too much actual product at all.

Practice makes perfect, and research helps. Sephora's website is awesome because people post reviews and ratings on countless products, and you can get the proper brushes. Learn the right colours by using online guides to figure out whether your skin/hair/eyes are neutral, cold, or warm, and whether you fit into brights/pastels/earthy colours and so on. That is key :D
